Fleas are getting an early start this year. Make sure your pets are protected. If you are buying over the counter flea products be careful. Some can be toxic to your pets. Cats and kittens can die from flea anemias very quickly.
Canine Influenza has arrived in New Jersey. This is a dangerous disease-not your every day kennel cough. If your pet is not vaccinated make an appointment.
"Thumbelina" is a special needs dog that was left in a rainstorm in March. She is a mix breed poodle weighing 6 pounds. "Thumbelina" is adorable and devoted. She becomes very attached to one person and will attack anyone that comes near that person. She has many behavioral problems but has a seizure if she is scolded or disciplined in any way. She has a scar where she was stabbed in the chest. She needs an owner that can be completely devoted to her and who has no friends or family. If you know an agoraphobic that is lonely she would be the perfect companion. Another option would be an elderly person with no visitors who does not get meals on wheels. She also attacks windshield wipers and is not suitable for long car rides. ANYONE wanting this special dog will be considered.
